Christmas Mountain Village is located in the country, four miles from downtown Wisconsin Dells. A car is needed to enjoy the area as there are many outdoor/indoor attractions to enjoy as well as hiking, biking, boating and sight seeing. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE Hovie's Trading Post - Hovie's is a gas station and fully stocked convenience store located on the edge of the resort. Hovie's has snacks, groceries, sundries, beer, liquor, magazines, newspapers, frozen foods, fresh produce, movie rentals and novelty items. Hovie's is open daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM. They have daily lunch specials, hot coffee and fresh baked goodies every morning. For your convenience Hovie's offers free delivery to the units. If you want your unit stocked prior to your arrival please contact Hovie's at 608-254-3963 with your requests, or the resort front desk at 608-254-3941 and we will be more than happy to assist you with your order. A credit card will be required in advance. Liquor and tobacco products will not be sold or supplied to minors. WHAT TO BRING Swim suits - there are four outdoor pools and hot tubs. The pools are open May thru September weather permitting. One outdoor hot tub remains open through out the year.Pool Towels - the unit towels are colored and are not for use at the pools, the chlorine damages them.Firewood - many of our units have wood fireplaces. Give us a call and we will let you know if your unit is equipped with a gas or wood fireplace.Condiments - we provide salt and pepper only.Coffee - each unit is equipped with a coffee maker and coffee filters, but we do not provide coffee.Credit Card - a valid credit card is required at check in for a security/damage deposit.Golf Clubs - there is a 27 hole golf course on the resort. Rentals are available. Skis - there are eleven downhill ski runs and acres of cross country trails when the snow is plentiful. Rentals available for downhill skis only. WHAT NOT TO BRING Pets - we know you love your pets, but please do not bring them to stay with you at the resort, they are not permitted. We are more than happy to provide information on local kennels. Mutliple vehicles, boat, trailers, recreational vehicles - the resort has limited parking at each of the units. Please call in advance for auxiliary parking options; recreation vehicles cannot be used on the property.
